It’s not Anna Nicole Smith but longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky (34) to whom Howard Stern (53), an American radio and TV personality, will spend his rest of his life. On Valentine’s Day Stern shut-up everyone’s mouth when he disclosed his romantic proposal to Beth Ostrosky to marry him, on Sirius Satellite Radio show. Stern and Ostrosky met in 2001, a year after Stern separated from his wife of 20 years, Alison.

Knowing proposing will be the best way to do so Stern cracked a question to model-actress Ostrosky, “Do you want your Valentine’s Day gift now?” Then took out a 5.2-carat Richie Winick diamond ring and whispered in ear those beautiful words: “I love you. You’re everything to me. This is so gay...I’m asking you to spend the rest of your life with me.”

When Ostrosky, a Pittsburgh native who ranked as high as 34 on FHM magazine’s list of 100 Sexiest Women, gave an affirmative response then he phoned her father for his consent.

The wedding date is not yet fixed but Stern look forward to a long engagement. The couple share an apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and share custody of Stern’s three daughters from his first marriage.

You can have three types of rings in car tire, mountain bike tire and motorcycle tire design. The treads themselves are designed to be representations of style types but not specific brands or models

The rings can be matched with your would-be’s ring as it comes in pairs.

I have discussed earlier the changing trends for wedding day. Today, I am again back with some changes, in wedding etiquette. There are many wedding etiquettes, which are twisted in today’s world:

Old etiquette: Bride’s family pays for wedding.

New etiquette:
Bride’s family pays for only twenty-seven percent of weddings. Now, wedding expenditure is intelligently divided among the couple or their family.

Old etiquette: More than six bridesmaids and groomsmen are compulsory.

New etiquette: There is no maximum or minimum, just on or two attendants on each side are acceptable.

Old etiquette: Bridal bouquet must be in white.

New etiquette:
Bouquet can be in vivacious wildflowers, lavender roses that match bridesmaid dresses or it can be in groom’s favorite flowers.

Old etiquette: Groom’s mother selects her dress after the mother of the bride.

New etiquette: Mother of the groom selects a dress that suits her best and in which she is most comfortable.

I think these traditional changes are the requirement of the time. Moreover, it is good for bride- and groom-to-be, and their family. Some according to their requirement twist these traditions.

Wedding and Valentine’s Day both are matters of heart. These two occasions are very special in all lovers’ life.

The difference in both these days is that first happens only once in a life (now its unpredictable) and other comes every year on 14th, February. Jewelry plays an important part to give you a complete look on these special occasions.

Pictured here is jewelry by Mondera an online jewelry store by two brothers-Fred and Pascal Mouawad. They are not new in the jewelry business rather they continues a family tradition that began in 1890 when master watchmaker David Mouawad established the Mouawad Company. In early 1998, Fred and Pascal Mouawad decided to bring their family tradition of quality and service to a wider public through internet. This is the most ignorant and absurd thing I have ever heard in my life. Can you believe it that your marriage license can be cancelled if you do not have a child within three years of your marriage!

Supporters of same sex marriage have filed an initiative according to which, the heterosexual couples must have kids within three years or else their marriage would be annulled. The Washington Defense of Marriage Alliance filed this initiative 957. This group was formed in last summer when Supreme Court supported Washington’s ban on same-sex marriage.

WA-DOMA organizer Gregory Gadow
in a printed statement said;

For many years, social conservatives have claimed that marriage exists solely for the purpose of procreation ... The time has come for these conservatives to be dosed with their own medicine. If same-sex couples should be barred from marriage because they can not have children together, it follows that all couples who cannot or will not have children together should equally be barred from marriage.

The supporters of this initiative must gather more than 224,000 valid signatures by July 6 to put the initiative on the November ballot. If this initiative gets on the ballot 89.54% people believe that it does not have a chance to pass.

This is really a ridiculous attack on the traditional marriage as said by the opponents. There can be a number of reasons behind unbearing of child like infertility which may be caused by one or more factors that affect either the man or the woman, or in some cases both partners and impotency.

You might be thinking what is this! Actually, this is nothing more, but male pig Shui Fu-ko and female pig Huang Pu-pu kissing each other after they got married. Though it sounds bit unusual but this wedding ceremony was truly held at Yilan, Taiwan.

The owners of the two pigs married the animals on the upcoming lunar New Year, also known as the “Year of the Pig.”

The local parish priest and other guests witnessed the wedding. Can you believe that the owner Shu Wen-chun was searching best match for his male pig Shui Fu-ko since last October on internet.

I found this Hello Kitty wedding gown for someone you never wanted to come out from her childhood. The gown is beautifully created with many hello kitties on it. Pink frilly gown in tube neck that looks amazing.

Show everyone the child heart, which is lurking inside you with naughtiness.

In west, brides are modifying their wedding dress with some color while in Asian countries brides are switching towards light color. The reason behind this change is the culture. Yes, in west white is auspicious for wedding dress of the bride while in east red is considered auspicious in maximum parts. Thus, everybody wants revolutionize routine.

While western brides splash color on their wedding gown Asian brides shift from red to contrasts this year. A lehenga in a lighter color teamed with a double shaded choli in darker or a pale bridal outfit offset with a brilliant dupatta in bright hues.

Even designers say that light colors are in this year and for wedding, you cannot go in for them completely. Therefore, the best way is to combine both (light and dark colors) and create a textured look. Brides may look out for kutris and salwars in matching with a heavy dupatta.

When color is revolutionized, even fabric should come across some change from just satin and silk. This year heavy dupattas with yarns and yarn fabric have a graceful makeover. Organza, tulle, and fine net odhnis will compliment heavy lehengas. Even saris and tulle are changed from red to pink and from silk to yarn. If you have a heavy frame, this is right up your street and for those who are in shape this leaves you free from lugging. Thus, you will feel hassle-free to handle your sari.

Some meanings you would definitely love to know:

Lehenga: Is a colorful swirling skirt

Choli: A short bodice paired with lehenga

Dupatta & Odhni: A bright veil taken over lehenga and choli.
Sari: A length of material usually wrapped over a petticoat and paired with a choli.
