The extravagant weddings and the trend of spending larger and larger amounts for this once-in-a-lifetime event has Hyderabad too in its tight grip. The traditional model of marriages being a simple family affair which brought together two people and with them their families for life, is no longer restricted to this simple meaning.

Marriages as seen today, are extravagant mega events where power projection and display of wealth have taken precedence. Hyderabad is witness to a large number of grand weddings which are so elaborate that it is managed by wedding planners and event management companies that itself speaks volumes for the magnitude of the event. There are new innovations in this field everyday and each one wants to outdo the other.

The marriage fever has reached infectious levels and the middle class too has come within its grasp. It has spilled over to this segment of our society as well. The hotels, wedding planners, event management companies and those in the marriage business seem to be having a booming business. In Hyderabad weddings now lakhs are spent for the bride’s wedding trousseau and the dress for the day itself costs an astonishing amount. The wedding card itself is an elaborate affair and the guest list goes into a few thousands with wedding halls having a number of decorated stalls serving different cuisines.

This trend has raised concerns in the State and the Chief Minister has termed this to be a ’social evil’ and organisations like Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam and Hyderabad Welfare Society are making an effort to make a difference by sponsoring mass marriages for the poor. Only time will tell as to who in the upper echelons of the society would be ready to bell the cat and take a decision as to make a difference himself to put an end to this social evil.

They target the rich and the famous. They seduce you with their charm. And before you could smell any rats, you are neck deep in a trouble which leaves you wonderng about the sweet thing you just met yesterday and decided to make your wife.

Watch out! Toxic Wife Syndrome is rampant and and if you lose your senses in the beginning and give in to their charm, then the beginning could well become your end. And you will end up marrying a girl with the Toxic Wife Syndrome.

These so-called TWS +ve girls, or the potential toxic wives are flirtatious, love to target older men, are weighed down with designer accessories and within minutes of meeting a man want to know his bank balance.

When British journalist Tara Winter Wilson mentioned the syndrome in a lifestyle article for the Daily Telegraph newspaper, many people identified with the problem. She had said:

Many women see it as a career choice. After leaving university, they stay on the party circuit until they trap someone. They try to get the most by doing the least. They develop an extraordinary sense of entitlement, becoming very judgmental and shrewish.

She got tremendous feedback from readers around the world recognising the syndrome, which compounded her theory and prompted her to further release a guide to spotting a potential toxic wife.

She has laid down a set of rules to spot a wife going toxic:

She gives up work to care for the children and then sends them to boarding schools as soon as they outgrow their nannies.

She demands wall-to-wall help with a maid hired to work up to 14 hours a day six days a week.

Cooking and housework are strictly out of bounds.

They have to live in a country mansion, forcing the husband to commute daily to London.

She even got accused of being a misogynist and an anti-feminist and recieved hate mails from women who found her wrong. But she strongly defends her stand,

The toxic wife is a complete disservice to women. It does us no favours. Stay-at-home mothers should be applauded, not reviled.

I totally agree with Wilson on this stand. Prevention is the only solution for this incurable disease.

To be a bride in retro hairstyle you do not have to worry if your hair are curly or wavy. Just blow dry them and flat iron before your retro style them. I am sorry if your hair not long then you are out the list of this wedding hairstyle. But you do not be upset you can use hair piece.

Okay! lets begun now with following steps:
1. Make a low ponytail with all hair pushed at the back.
2. Roll the ponytail under and pin. Leave a small section of the ponytail to help you out to hide the hairpins and give a neat look to you.
3. You may add a small retro crystal tiara compliments the hairstyle without competing with it.

For a huge bun, you may use hair padding. After the retro hairstyle is done, you may accessorize it with headpiece or flowers.

Marriage is a social institution that has stood the test of centuries. It has remained the foundation of human community everywhere.

It is true, marital relationships have gone through many ups and downs as the modern social order evolved over the centuries. But, the basic fact remains that marriage forms the brickwork of the social edifice of mankind.

Employment and modern business opportunities have thrown individuals out of their family surroundings into far off cities and towns where they live with unfamiliar people. Work environment brings people into contact even with total strangers. Perhaps, more individuals in the 21st century live among unfamiliar people than it ever had been in the past.

Young peope who live and work in places away from the localities where they grew up as children and received education mingle with the new acquaintances and tend to fall in love with previously unknown individuals. A number of these lovers also get married, either with or without the approval of the elders in their respective families. The new-found economic freedom of the freshly employed youth also plays a decisive role in inducing them take decisions related to marriage and life on their own. When the marriage is without the approval of the elders, further support from the family becomes a mirage in many cases.

There is a growing number of lovers who opt for a ‘live-in’ arrangement rather than getting married. Such ‘coming together’ without the social obligations towards each other has contributed to the decay of the established social order.

Many such ‘marriages’ end up in divorce and the partners go through times of despair. Children born of these couples face an uphill task to enter the domain of normal livelihood like other cildren in the same locality. The problems of these children increase manifold as they grow. Their problems have no simple solution.

Real happiness consists in being accepted members of established social order. This also ensures smooth and secure progress for the family.

Of late, there is a perceptible realization among many that marriage is the only way to solve all these problems. It helps lay the foundation for a secure future. The mutual social benefits reaped by married partners have no other equivalents.

Nothing portrays glamour and grace like a Celebrity-Wedding-Dress. When no mercy is showed to expenditure, the soon-to-be-married-couple does relish the wedding of their dreams. And the inquisitive minds end up asking ‘What did the bride and groom wear?’.

Celebrity-bride’s wedding-garment catches hold of major eyeballs and groom’s attire comes after that; sometimes goes absolutely overlooked! That whole day delights in a special feel in itself...be it a feel of a classy designer gown or a cozy beach wedding dress!

One party that does mark its strong presence at a Celebrity-Wedding is none other than media. It clamors to capture photographs...and also highlight their dresses...or I should rather say that hoards of lenses entrap the wedding-apparels only!

Let’s have a look at some of the best wedding-dresses till date:

No wonder, the gorgeous actress Nicole Kidman won Best Wedding Dress of the Century Award as per Conde Nast Brides. The jaw-dropping beauty got married in June 2006.

Grace Kelly’s sumptuous wedding-gown is giving a tough competition to Kidman’s wedding-dress. Isn’t it? The wedding was enjoyed in 1956.

Pink slipped into a girlie-looking wedding dress in January 2006. If the sparrow’s nest on top of her head be ignored, she looked great in that informal garment.

Diana, Princess of Wales, walked up the red-carpeted aisle for three-and-a-half minutes with the splendid 25 ft train of her Emmanuel designed ivory taffeta and antique lace gown flowing behind her. The royal event took place in July 1981.

Which one is your favorite?

Generally, many brides are superstitious about wearing a second-hand gown on their wedding day. However, this can be a good deal for you.

When we buy a wedding dress, we know that there won’t be another day when we’ll wear it again. Wedding dress is the priciest dress we ever purchase but cannot wear it again. Then I thought that why not to buy a previously owned dress. This will save money and will give you a super dress in your budget.

There is another good option for you to donate your gown to Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, who accepts donation of your wedding gowns and sells them at a discounted price in order to help breast cancer patients.

Along with wedding dress and jewelry, wedding invitation cards also play an important role. In today’s world, there are hell lots of wedding invitation cards. Choosing the perfect one is a vital chore.

For an ultra-formal wedding, you may choose ‘engraved’ and for formal opt for ‘thermographed’ wedding invitation. Former is a classically traditional and latter is printed through a heat process. For engraved cards, you need to order them eight weeks before and thermographed should be ordered six weeks before.

If you want to spend lavishly, printed wedding invitation can be your choice for a very pricey invitation. They are not so formal and require to around four to six week notice in advance.

To give elegant and old-fashioned essences to your invitation try calligraphed. It is an extremely pricey invitation as there is a lot of time and effort that goes into creating these invitations.

In addition, if you are very artistic, you may invite your guests through handmade invitation cards. Please make sure that you do not have a very long list for guests as to produce these cards you will have to burn your energies.

Another type of invitation is e-invitation cards. However, this save a big expenditure of yours but it should never be used as it does not compliment your etiquettes and shows some type of disrespect to your invitee.

Obviously for wedding lingerie, you spent more to look sexy and sensational. After spending, so high on your lingerie you want them to long last. You can achieve that with little special care. Try to avoid your washing machine and opt for hand-wash to keep your delicate fabric looking new and lively.

If hand wash is not at all possible by you then put your lingerie into a bag before you put them in washing machine and set washing machine at cool temperature and delicate cycle.

Please do not dry them as drying can distort there shape especially your bra. After washing put, them on a drying rack to dry but not under sun as that can fade your sexy colorful under-things.

Walt Disney is to bring fairy tales to verve with its new Princess-Themed wedding dresses. Yes! Walt Disney and bridal designer Kirstie Kelly have made a gown line, which will give life to every little girl’s dream to dress up like a fairy on their special day.

Disney’s initial thirty-four gowns will be hit the stores in June. They even have plans to inflate their line by October, which will include bridesmaids and flower girl dresses.

As the gowns will give you an appearance like princess then the price also should be an elite one. Each gown will cost $1,100 to $3,000. The line is designed in order to pay homage to Disney princesses Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine or Ariel.

The fabric and the style of the gowns are individually focused on each princess. Though designs are themed on the fairy princesses, yet they are modish and fashionable.

Place: Solutions Bridal in Winter Park will be the only store in Central Florida to carry the line.
