The Correction Department of New Zealand has been ordered by the Sensible Sentencing Trust to stop wedding behind the bars.



So far in the last three years 12 marriages have taken place in the prison and this has created wide spread outrage amongst the concerned departments.



The sensitive matter came to forefront after the case of criminal Scott Watson became known. The murderer was cheating on his wife of two years and this immediately got the attention of the SST members who have called on the Correction Department to ban all such activities in the near future.
