Ranch Brunch Wedding

About Alison and Justin’s wedding day:

Our wedding took place at my husband’s family ranch, which was a passion project of his mother and late father. Together they designed and built the Mexican style house to bring together friends and family to showcase the stunning beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Our wedding day emulated the same thought.

We chose to have an intimate daytime wedding to emphasize the views with the ceremony starting at 11am followed by cocktail hour and the reception. The ceremony took place in a small grove of live oaks with soft, acoustic music. The altar was framed in by a semicircle of peach and cream roses and greenery with floral chandeliers hanging from the branches.

The reception took place under a sailcloth tent on a small hill that offered gorgeous Hill Country views in both directions of surrounding ranches and vineyards. We chose to have a 5-person bluegrass/folk band perform which created a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

The floral arrangements consisted of peach and cream tones with lots of greenery to reflect the warm colors exhibited in the surrounding landscape as it transitions from fall to winter.
