Ines di Santo 2019 Bridal Collection: “Modern Romance”
Another New York Bridal Fashion Week has come and gone, and guys, we’ve just gotta say that the 2019 bridal collections are LIT! Of particular note is Ines di Santo‘s runway show, which unveiled some pretty fashion-forward gems that covered every notch on the style spectrum. Boasting shimmery ball gown silhouettes, sheer dramatic capes, plunging neckline jumpsuits and everything in between, we’re confident this year’s wedding dress trends are gonna turn heads.
So many creative details in the Aria gown – the longer we look at it, the more we fall in love! Romantic poet sleeves, a femme cummerbund waist and pleated draping of the skirt… *Cue the oohs and ahhs*
Tiers of beads = tears of happiness. Unsurprisingly, this pleated ruffle stunner is one of our faves!
Minis are on the move. And this lingerie strap number with texture an wispy feathers is giving us life!
Okay but who could have predicted Old World boned corsets would be making a comeback? With off-the-shoulder straps and a candy floss skirt, we’re getting some major Cinderella vibes (Lily James style).
We’re uttery swept away by this embellished strapless beaut with illusion sides and a sheer hooded cape to boot.
Swirling diamonds across the illusion bodice in the Ellie gown. WORK. IT. GIRL.
One-shoulder + wholly femme, this modern high low ball gown is flirty, fun and everything we love about bold wedding dresses.
So if you’re wondering how we’ll be spending the remainder of the work week, you wouldn’t be far off in thinking it involves fawning over these gorgeous images from Mike Colon. We can’t help but think of modern feminity as we browse through these runway shots over and over again, so a standing ovation for this collection is due. Don’t ya think? Glittery goodness and edgy silhouettes, Ines di Santo starts our roundups of NYBFW strong!
